The revolution of 1383 broke out in Lisbon, but the seeds created that year bore fruit in the following two years. Throughout the dynastic crisis which took place in Portugal between the death of King Ferdinand and the accession to the throne of King João I, Lisbon played a decisive role as the stage for the revolt, the Castilian siege and, finally, as the home of a new dynasty. In partnership with São Jorge Castle, we will revisit some of the emblematic sites of this time, guided by the voice of the chronicler of the period: Fernão Lopes.
