Between Lisbon and the Alentejo, these two friends get together to give voice to themes from the traditional Portuguese songbook, interpreting themes from the repertoire of Fado and of Cante Alentejano, also passing by singers such as José Afonso, Fausto and Vitorino.

From humble origins and family experiences that reflect the culture of a very specific region, the connection since childhood with Cante Alentejano, was fundamental for Nuno Ramos in defining his path and musical identity.

The same family tradition marked the path of Bruno Fonseca, who from an early age had contact with traditional Portuguese music and with singers, who represent part of a significant history of Portuguese culture.

In this duo we can hear all the influences that traced the path of these two musicians, where Nuno gives voice and accompanies himself on the viola and Bruno with his Portuguese guitar reflects an almost daily experience in fado houses.

We propose that you accompany these two wanderers on a journey through the roots of traditional Portuguese music.

Nuno Ramos – vocals, percussion and fado viola
Bruno Fonseca – Portuguese guitar, classical guitar and percussion
